   Ang Panday, Isang pelikulang sinusubaybayan mula pa noon. Ito ay gawa ng isang batikang comic creator na si carlo j caparas. Mula sa beterano at kinikilalang hari ng aksyon na si the king Fernando poe Jr hanggang sa ginampanan ng senador na si bong revilla jr lagi itong pumapatok sa takilya. Ngayong taon ipapalabas ulit sa mga sinehan ang panday. Ito ay ginagampanan ngayon ng sikat na actor na si Coco martin.

                             Pumatok sa telebisyon ang teleserye nyang probinsyano na kung saan binatay din ito sa dating pelukala ng the king Fernando poe. Ngayon muling ipapalabas ang panday at pag bibidahan ito ni coco martin. Makakasama nya ditto ang ilan sa mga sikat na artista. Katulad nila jake Cuenca, gaganap bilang lizard. Isang karakter sa palabras na kung saan ito ang mortal na kaaway ni panday. Andito din sila Agot Isidro, Leo Martinez, Eddie Garcia at marami pang iba.

                             Ito ang kauna unahang pelikulang  idederik ni coco martin. Sinasabing sa pasko o December 25, 2017 ilalabas ang pelikulang ito

              "Ang Panday" is a fictional philippine comics made by Carlo J. Caparas way back in 1981. Flavio will be played by Coco Martin this coming metro manila film festival on December 25, 2017. Ang Panday will be the official entry of CCM production for the 2017 MMFF. the film will also be directed by Coco Martin under his real name, Rodel Nacianceno. 

                 Ang Panday will be similiar with the previous Panday films, where it will focus on the heroism of Panday/Flavio who manages to create a magical sword, after a meteorite falls from the sky. He is a noble blacksmit, forges the ore of the meteorite into a dagger, which magically turns when he raises it and points the sword at the sky. 

                Ang Panday film series consisted of four films: Ang Panday 1981, Ang Pagbabalik ng Pnday 1982, Ang Panday Ikatlong Yugto 1983, and Panday IV : Ikaapat na Aklat 1984. this films were all starred by the late Fenando Peo, Jr. other Panday films continuing the storyline of the original series were produced. However they are independent seequels and do not share the same continuity. And Panday Also had a TV Series. the first one was in 1986 an animeted television series. then in 2005 abs-cbn aired a live action Ang Panday TV Series. in 2010 GMA aired a spin off panday kids is a spin off from the classic novel. TV5 also aired ang Panday in 2016 starring Richard Guitierrez. and now 2017 Star Cinema will have an Entry at MMFF with ang Panday starring Coco Martin

                       The "Ang Panday" movie will serve as an official entry to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. The film will be directed by Coco Martin and it will be distributed and produced by Star Cinema along with Coco Martin's own film outfit CCM Productions. The film will be similar to the previous Panday, it will focus on the heroism of Panday who manages to create a magical sword made from fallen meteors in order to defeat a powerful enemy. Coco will be the main character "Flavio" of the movie and Mariel de leon as his leading lady, and Jake Cuenca as Lizardo. There are lots of actors and actresses who is in the movie.


                      Coco is currently playing the role of Cardo in "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" and this will be the second time that Coco Martin will portray a character popularized by "The King" Fernando Poe Jr.
